Η χρήση αλεξιπτώτων για την ανάκτηση κάθε τύπου drone, πολυκόπτερου ή ενός συστήματος α/φους (UAS) είναι πλέον μία καθιερωμένη πρακτική τόσο στην πρόβλεψη, καταγραφή και αντιμετώπιση ενός πιθανού κινδύνου (Contingency Procedure) που ενδέχεται να συμβεί,  όσο και στην επιτυχή εφαρμογή μιας διαδικασίας έκτακτης ανάγκης (Emergency Procedure) που συμβαίνει στη διάρκεια των πτήσεων.

Ο βασικός στόχος από τη χρήση ενός αλεξιπτώτου, εντοπίζεται στη διάσωση του μη επανδρωμένου εναέριου οχήματος, του εξοπλισμού του, αλλά και στην ομαλή προσεδάφισή του στη γη…
